Evidence

Whey protein isolate Evidence grade A
Outcome
Muscle protein synthesis and lean mass with resistance training, adults; daily protein intake target support.
Dose in the literature
20 to 40 g protein per dose; 1.6 g/kg/day total protein is where lean-mass gains plateau in meta-analysis.
Our dose
27 g protein per 30 g serving, as-is basis. Leucine 2.9 g.
Trials

Trial list pending. Each entry will carry PMID, n, duration, dose and effect size. Trials at lower doses listed with what they found. Negative trials listed.

Form
Cross-flow microfiltered isolate, bovine milk. No hydrolysate premium: the outcome evidence does not require it.
Supplier
Named manufacturer, country of origin and specification sheet published with the first lot.
Spec
Protein ≥ 90 % (N × 6.38, as-is) · lactose ≤ 1 % · fat ≤ 1 %
Lot tests
Protein by Dumas · amino acid profile (amino-spiking check) · heavy metals by ICP-MS · microbiology · moisture

§ 5

Not in here

Emulsifier (lecithin)
Lecithin makes whey wet quickly in a shaker. It changes nothing about the protein. Without it the powder clumps; the label says blend it.
Flavor and sweetener
Occupy the serving, change nothing that matters. A single-origin vanilla extract may follow as a separate SKU with its own dossier line.
Thickener (gums)
Mouthfeel only.
Anti-caking agent
Flow in the factory, not function in you.
§ 6

Cost
